NEWSMAKERS: Meghan Eckel Promoted to Vice President at Fulton Savings Bank

Meghan E. Eckel has been named vice president of lending compliance and CRA officer of Fulton Savings Bank (FSB).

Eckel began her career at Fulton Savings Bank as a teller in 2011 and was quickly promoted to serve in leadership roles, including several branch offices and loan operations of Fulton Savings Bank, including most recently as assistant lending compliance and CRA officer.

“Meghan will continue to lead our loan operations team and her promotion to vice president is reflective of her strong commitment to our customers and colleagues,” said Jerry Mirabito, the bank’s executive vice president and secretary. “Having spent more than 15 years with Fulton Savings Bank, Meghan understands our culture and approach to fostering strong relationships with our customers and community, including our continued focus on how best to align our resources through the Community Reinvestment Act.”

Eckel earned a certificate in mortgage lending compliance from the American Bankers Association, as well as her CRA certificate of completion. She is a member of the Women’s Garden Club of Baldwinsville, where she resides with her husband and daughter.

Fulton Savings Bank is the city’s oldest, locally owned, longest-standing business, according to The Friends of History in Fulton, Inc., and will celebrate its 155th anniversary in 2026. It has offices in Fulton, Baldwinsville, Phoenix, Central Square, Brewerton and Constantia, with assets totaling more than $483 million and deposits totaling more than $281 million.
