Psychiatrist Scott Daniels has recently joined the medical staff of Oswego Health and will practice at its Lobdell Center for Mental Health & Wellness at Lakeview
Daniels brings extensive experience in hospital-based psychiatry and academic leadership. He completed his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Healthcare Administration at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and earned a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics from Brigham Young University. He completed his residency at the University of Texas Southwestern residency programs in Austin, Texas.
Throughout his career, Daniels has served in a variety of clinical and leadership roles, including hospital psychiatrist at Hutchings Psychiatric Center and St. Joseph’s Hospital, associate professor of psychiatry at SUNY Upstate University Hospital and leadership positions at Utah Valley Hospital, where he improved department-wide psychiatric outcomes, expanded provider coverage and recruited additional psychiatrists to meet patient needs.
