NEWSMAKERS: Fulton Savings Appoints New Vice President

Ronald C. Browning has been named vice president of regulatory administration and information technology of Fulton Savings Bank.

Browning has served in increasingly senior roles since 2000 at Fulton Savings Bank, including most recently as chief technology officer and, previously as information technology manager and financial modeling specialist.

“I am very pleased to promote Ron to this new leadership role and have his assistance in administering an increasingly complex regulatory environment,” said FSB President and CEO Pamela Caraccioli. “His commitment for more than 25 years, along with his strong background providing oversight for the bank’s information technology areas, will be further leveraged to serve the needs of our customers and employees at Fulton Savings Bank.”

Browning earned a master’s degree in business administration from SUNY Oswego, as well as a bachelor’s in business administration from SUNY Brockport.  Additionally, he is a certified information security system professional (CISSP).

A lifelong resident of the city of Fulton, Browning has served on the board of directors at the Fulton Lions Club for 16 years, and very recently received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award.  He also serves on the board of directors for Mount Adnah Cemetery in the city of Fulton.

Fulton Savings Bank is the city’s oldest, locally owned, longest-standing business, according to The Friends of History in Fulton, Inc. It has offices in Fulton, Baldwinsville, Phoenix, Central Square, Brewerton, and Constantia, with assets totaling more than $473 million and deposits totaling more than $286 million.
