‘Cruising the City’ Event Comes to SUNY Oswego

Campus to come alive as students meet area businesses

The Campus-City Relations Committee is featuring the fifth annual "Cruising the City" event on the SUNY Oswego campus.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 28 in the Campus Center Arena.

The event will be held in conjunction with the college's student Involvement fair, which introduces students to organizations and offices on campus.

The “Cruising the City” portion introduces students to the opportunities at businesses in and around the Oswego community.

There is no cost to participate. However, participants will be asked to donate something reflective of their business that organizers can make part of a raffle to attendees.

Due to space limitations and the inability of businesses to staff a table for the entire event, organizers are asking that interested businesses send information, brochures, fliers or coupons that promote their business for organizers to present.

Contact the Office of Business and Community Relations by Wednesday to indicate interest and to send or drop off promotional materials.
