New leader Takes Over at Interface Solutions in Fulton

W. Scott Bayha new plant manager at local manufacturing facility

W. Scott Bayha is the new plant manager at Interface Solutions Inc. in Fulton.

He succeeds James Lynch at the facility, which employs 120 workers. It is the 27th largest private employer in Oswego County.

Bayha was formerly plant manager at Congoleum Corp. in Finksburg, Md. Congoleum is a manufacturer of resilient sheet and tile flooring for both residential and commercial uses.

He managed safety, quality, productivity and cost for 75 employees with direct profit and loss responsibility. He rebuilt the plant safety process to an employee-driven process.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in textile management from Clemson University.

Interface Solutions Inc. has three plants in New York and is the leading manufacturer of fiber gasket materials and resilient flooring backing.

Prior to Interface, Armstrong World Industries owned the plant on state Route 481 in Fulton until June 1999, when it divested its floor backing and gasket business.
