ONE, Chamber Join to Discuss Pedestrian Issue in Oswego

Safety to be addressed at business meeting

The Oswego Network of Entrepreneurs and the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce Oswego Business Committee are hosting a meeting with New York State Department of Transportation representative Diana Grazer and others at Oswego City Hall, West Oneida Street, in the Common Council Chambers at 8 a.m. May 16 to discuss safety conditions of pedestrian crosswalks on Bridge Street-state Route 104.

“Since this may be a subject of some interest to you, either because you own property on Bridge Street-state Route 104, or you may have customers or clients who are affected by pedestrian safety issues on Bridge Street, we welcome your attendance,” said the chamber’s Jackie Thorpe.

The ONE and chamber are also conducting a tour of Bridge Street’s pedestrian crossings at 3 p.m. July 18.

Participants for the Bridge Street walk will meet at City Hall.

RSVP to Jackie Thorpe at membership@oswegofultonchamber.com or call the chamber at 315-343-7681.
