Puddle Jumpers Opens at the Oswego County Airport

Eatery gets funding through county agency

Puddle Jumpers, a new restaurant located at the Oswego County Airport, opened recently at the facility on county Route 176.

The Oswego County Industrial Development Agency provided a $15,000 micro-enterprise loan for start-up costs such as building improvements and equipment, furnishings and fixtures.

“The economic impact of this venture is the creation of one full-time and three part-time positions and an estimated $8,900 in annual sales tax,” said L. Michael Treadwell, CEO of the IDA. “The restaurant will provide support services for the county airport and make use of available vacant space.”

The restaurant is owned by Susan Skinner and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner featuring new and traditional American fare.

Its hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 7 a.m. to noon on Sunday. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. It also offers handicap accessibility and free parking.

For restaurant details, call 315-593-6461, visit its website at www.puddle-jumpers.com or find it on Facebook.
