Steve Chirello, owner of Steve Chirello Advertising, received the Small Business of the Year award at the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Breakfast held Friday in the Hewitt Union Ballroom at SUNY Oswego.

The award is given annually to the nominee that best demonstrates growth in sales and employment, staying power, community involvement and customer service.

Located in Fulton, Steve Chirello Advertising has provided its clients with award-winning advertising, marketing and public relations services for more than 12 years.

“With more than 30 years of experience Steve has been serving a variety of clients throughout Central New York. In addition, Steve generously donates his time and services as he sits on the board of directors for a number of local organizations. It is my pleasure to present him with this award,” said executive director of the chamber, Beth Hilton.

The breakfast was the culmination of the chamber’s Small Business Week Celebration, which also included a special reception hosted by the Oswego County Legislature.
