Beth Dice Hilton Takes Reins of Oswego-Fulton Chamber

New chamber head ready to take command in May

Beth Dice Hilton is the new executive director of the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce.

“After an extensive search that included reviewing dozens of qualified applicants, the search committee feels that we have found an individual who possesses the drive and vision needed to keep the chamber moving forward,” said Nick Canale, president of the chamber’s board of directors.

“We are happy to welcome back a native Oswegonian, Beth Dice Hilton. Beth, whose parents once owned the Oswego Plaza Laundry, knows the area well and her extensive professional background will prove very beneficial as she acclimates herself to our membership,” Canale noted. “We are fortunate to have someone as talented as Beth as our new executive director. She is glad to be back in her hometown and is anxious to greet the staff and begin meeting our members.”

A graduate of SUNY Oswego, Hilton received her master of business administration, marketing from the University of Phoenix. She has previously worked as general manager of the Tanger Outlet Center in Hilton Head, S.C. and as the director of member services for the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce in Beaufort, S.C.

“Our board members are looking forward to working with Beth as we develop a strategic plan that will lead the chamber to the next level of success,” Canale said. “Our focus has always been to provide our members with the support they need to be successful and to provide our area with quality events that not only benefit our members, but are enjoyed by those who live in our community as well.

“Beth shares that vision and will provide the chamber with the leadership and service that our members deserve.”

Canale said that he anticipates Hilton to begin her duties as executive director the second week in May.
